RULES FOR THE USE OF ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
Note:
Gazi University Central Library has subscribed to many electronic resources as a result of license agreements made by publishers and firms. Violation of rules of agreements by anyone can result in temporary closure of databases or annulment of agreements and total closure of databases to our University under some circumstances.
It is a requirement to obey the following rules so as to prevent such problems.
ALLOWED
* A specified number of printed or electronic copies can be
obtained (For example, a single article, a section of a book or a single thesis)
* You can use the resources for your own needs. (For example, researches or
courses)
* You can share information obtained from databases with staff and students of
Gazi University.
NOT ALLOWED
* Making copies of many publications in databases and transferring
them to personal computers systematically or for commercial use by using robot
or similar software.
* Sale of databases and distribution of the content.
* Transfer of data copied from the database to persons outside our University.
* Distribution of database content or articles by e-mail lists.
* Modifying records downloaded from the database or making similar studies by
making use of this data.
