INTERLIBRARY LOAN
* What is Interlibrary Cooperation?
Interlibrary Cooperation brings copies of books and articles
not available in the collections of Gazi University Central Library from
libraries in the country and abroad.
* Who can make use of Interlibrary
Cooperation Service?
All academic staff of Gazi University can use this service.
* Delivery time for requested
publications:
For books: Domestic: 1 week -10 days || Abroad:
1-1,5 months
For articles: Domestic: If the requested article
is available in Ulakbim, Hacettepe collection, it is supplied in 3 days.
|| Abroad: Articles on medical sciences are supplied in 1 day if requested via
fax or 15 days- 1 month if requested by post. Articles on other topics are
supplied in 1-1,5 months by post.
* CHARGE:
Books: Domestic: Post charge || Abroad: Fee
charged by the library from which the books are requested (if post charge is
requested it will be paid by the reader) + post charge for the return of the
book
Articles: Domestic: Charge per page of articles
brought from Hacettepe, Ulakbim libraries is 50.000 TL. || Abroad: If
articles are requested by post, charge up to 16 pages is 6 - 12.50 EURO.
Articles on medical sciences are delivered in the same day, if requested via
fax; however, the charge is unknown for the time being.
* How to make use of this service?
Fill in a form by applying to ‘Interlibrary Cooperation’ Service of the
Central Library. Applications are welcome within working hours; Monday-Friday:
8.30-17.30
